Pilsbury Grade - Authentically Aged Oak Flooring

22nd Feb 2022

The Pilsbury grade engineered oak flooring is the latest addition to our oak flooring range - providing one of the most aged oak flooring options we have available.

Boards in the Pilsbury engineered oak flooring are completely rustic, with natural variations in both surface texture and tonality. Each of the Pilsbury planks are heavily distressed and heavily brushed, whilst the long edges of the boards are unevenly hand scraped.

These processes give the Pilsbury oak flooring an authentically aged look – the impression of flooring which has been pulled straight from an old watermill. The oak itself has been graded to a character grade standard, with the boards featuring open knots, shakes and cracks.

As the Pilsbury engineered oak flooring is supplied unfinished, a number of different effects can be created by combining the boards with different wood floor finishing products. The images below show just some of the options available in the Blanchon Hard Waxoil and Blanchon Solid’Oil ranges.
