Solid Oak Flooring
Our solid oak flooring is all European oak and comes in 8 grades, ranging from barn grade through to quarter sawn.
The grades vary in the number of knots, fissures, cracks and figuring they contain, but all share the same high quality precision machining:
- tongue and groove edges, micro-bevelled along their lengths to allow for even, non-trip joins.
- grain end matched for pleasing visual continuity on long floor runs.
- stress grooves cut into the back side for increased stability and shrinkage/warpage resistance.

Engineered Oak Flooring
Engineered oak flooring is essentially a veneer of solid oak bonded to a hardwood ply backing to form a floor board almost indistinguishable from a solid oak board once laid.
As with our solid oak flooring, the machining precision of our engineered boards is top notch, providing you with a smooth, even floor.
The great benefit of engineered oak flooring is its stability - it's ideal for use over underfloor heating or in rooms liable to have water splashing such as kitchens and bathrooms.
