Providing natural, water-repellent protection – the Ciranova Worktop Oil is the perfect finish for wooden worktops, cutting boards, furniture and tables on which food is prepared.
Tested in line with the 1935/2004 standard, after drying, this oil meets the requirements to be used on wood that comes into contact with food. The Ciranova Worktop Oil is made from natural waxes, modified oils, and vegetable and renewable fatty acids.

Application
Ensure that the surface is free of dust and other contaminants. All old finishing layers should be completely removed.
Shake the Worktop Oil well prior to use. For smaller areas the Ciranova TopOil can be applied with a lint-free cloth in the direction of the wood grain. For larger surfaces, a brush can be used.
Apply a thin layer onto the wood and leave to soak for 15 minutes. Wipe the surface dry with a lint-free cloth.
For hardwoods, such as oak, at least 2 coats are required. For soft woods, multiple coats can be applied.
The oil can be painted over around 6 hours.
Maintenance
A new coat of the Ciranova Worktop Oil should be applied regularly to ensure permanent water-repellent protection. For heavy soiling, the Ciranova intensive cleaner should be used first. The Worktop oil takes around 7 days to fully cure.
