Like its Osmo Polyx-Oil counterpart, the Osmo Polyx-Oil Raw has been developed from natural oils and waxes, providing a hard-wearing and durable protection for wooden flooring and furniture.
In its untreated state, oak flooring and unfinished wood in general, has a light, pale look from its natural "raw" appearance.
The Osmo Polyx-Oil 3044 Raw has been designed to retain this appearance.
A small amount of white pigments are used to neutralise the permanent "wet-look" that develops after the application of a clear finish.
Approximately 30m2/L with one coat
Provides a nearly invisible appearance, no "permanent wet effect"
Light coloured wood stays light coloured
Durable and hard-wearing, water and dirt resistant
Microporous, treatable finish which does not crack, peel or flake
Based on natural plant oils and waxes (sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax and candelilla wax), paraffin, titanium dioxide white pigment, siccatives (drying agents) and water-repellent additives. De-aromatized white spirit (benzene-free). This product fulfils EU regulations (2004/42/EC) according to the VOC content of max. 500 g/l (Cat. A/i (2010)).
The surface of the wood must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 18%).
Osmo Polyx-Oil Raw is a ready to use product - do not thin.
Stir the contents well before use.
Apply thinly and evenly to the clean and dry wood, along the wood grain. This should be done using a natural bristle brush, microfibre roller or floor brush, spreading well.
Approximately 24 hours should be allowed for drying with good ventilation
After drying, a second coat should be applied quickly, also thinly.
