The Fiddes Wood Dye is a Non Grain Raising wood dye designed to provide depth of colour to interior wood surfaces.

Application
Ensure that the surface is clean, smooth and dry with all previous wood finishes completely removed.
The surface should then be cleaned with white spirit and sanded accordingly.
Before and during application the contents should be shook thoroughly. Test the colour on a matching substrate.
Apply the wood dye evenly with a soft, clean cloth working swiftly along the grain. Remove any excess stain immediately.
Allow 6-8 hours to dry, or preferably overnight.
Subsequent application of 1-2 coats of Fiddes Shellac Sealer, Clear Glaze or Supreme Wax Polish will provide a higher degree of protection and a greater depth of colour.
