The Ciranova Hardwax Oil is a fast drying clear hardwax oil suitable for the finishing of wooden floors, furniture and interior unfinished wooden surfaces. With a long open time, the Ciranova is perfect for application by brush or roller.
The oil provides good filling properties, a very natural colour with good chemical and mechanical resistance.
Coverage
20-25m2 per litre per coat
Application
Sand the surface of the wood using a 100-120 grit sandpaper. Remove any sanding dust before application.
Shake and stir the hardwax oil well before use.
The Ciranova Titan Hardwax Oil can be applied by roller (microfibre 6mm is advised), polishing machine (white or beige pad), paintbrush or cloth.
At least 2 coats are recommended for hardwoods (such as oak). For soft wood multiple coats can be applied. For exotic woods, the oil should be tested first.
Additional coats can be applied after 8 hours – dependant on the applied quantity, the temperature and air ventilation in the room.
Maintenance
Clean regularly using the Ciranova floor soap.
Dependant on the use of the floor, the maintenance oil can be used once a year.
