Having the right tools is something that is important to every aspect of our job here at Peak Oak. With our developments into the sheeps wool insulation (sold in 1 metre wide rolls), we needed to find a tool suitable to cut through the often tough material. With scissors, pen knives and many other cutting implements simply not being up to the job of cutting through the material easily. This led us to make hay into other areas, and eventually discover the Jakoti Hand Shears
Traditionally hand crafted from high quality carbon steel, these self-sharpening blades really are the perfect tool for cutting through your sheeps wool insulation.
Unlike other cutting tools, these shears will simply glide through the sheeps wool, saving you all important time.
The ergonomically designed handles, make them comfortable to use for long periods of time, whilst the low tension spring makes them easy to operate.
Once you’ve finished cutting the sheeps wool with the shears, they can still be used for a range of further activities, as Monty Don from BBC Gardeners’ World proves.
