The Woca Diamond Oil Active provides a high level quality finish to wooden floors. This single-component, low odour, extremely hard wearing floor oil is made from the absolute finest quality of materials providing a product that is very easy to work with and assuring minimal waste.
The unique hyper cross linking technology of diamond oil will give your wooden floor a comfortable, non-slip surface that is extremely water repellent and easy to clean and maintain. The oil has a dry matter content of >90% and is suitable for machine-application when oiling untreated, new or newly-sanded wooden floors in all species of wood.
20-25m2 per litre
The wood should be newly-sanded with grit 100-120 for the final sanding. The product, room and floor temperature must be between 15°C and 30°C.
Good ventilation should be ensured during application and the drying of the oil.
The floor must be free of dirt, grease, wax and sanding residue. Vacuum thoroughly.
Wash the floor using the Woca Intensive Wood Cleaner. At least 8 hours should be left for the floor to dry before applying the oil.
Shake the container of Diamond Oil Active thoroughly both before and during use. Containers with different batch numbers should be mixed to avoid colour mismatch.
Apply the oil using a short-bristled paint roller (3-4mm) in an even coat.
Leave the oil to penetrate for 10-15 minutes. If the oil soaks quickly into the wood, apply more oil.
Rub the Diamond Oil into the wood until the flooring appears saturated. Use a polishing machine with a white or beige pad.
Remove excess oil using dry, lint-free cotton cloths or pads until the surface no longer appears wet.
The flooring can be used with caution after 24 hours.
For regular cleaning, use the Woca Natural Soap or Woca Oil Refreshing Soap. The surface can be re-oiled with Woca Maintenance Oil Diamond Active as required. The floor should not be exposed to water or cleaned for the first 3-5 days while the oil is hardening.
