You may have heard us talk about in the past, the sheer quality of the Hakwood engineered oak flooring. In business since 1903, Hakwood really were one of the pioneers of engineered flooring. They have since developed a huge range of different flooring styles, colours and textures of prefinished and unfinished flooring. Further to the engineered oak boards, they also have a selection of solid oak flooring boards available in the form of the Reale Collection.

The Reale Collection is considered the flooring for out-and-out wood lovers, as Hakwoods only solid collection. All of the boards in this collection are made from the finest European oak, where planks are selected directly from the centre of the trunk. These are then left to dry at exactly the right speed, creating the desired tension in the wood. This creates an authentic, natural undulation in the floor. The result of this “shrunk face” is that the floor will look as if it has been lying there from the very beginning.

Currently there are three different styles available in the Reale Collection; Duca, Barone and Monarca. These boards are 20mm thick and available in widths of 180mm.
