Oak Flooring For Boats

This month, we're proud to have some of our distressed solid oak flooring featured in a five page spread in the February edition of Waterways World magazine.
We've had a few customers specifying oak flooring for boats and this installation, expertly performed by craftsmen at Stoke-on-Trent Boat Building Company Ltd is one of the most successful.
The article detailing the 62ft Josher-inspired narrowboat, had the following to say about our oak flooring:
“The flooring throughout the boat is oiled oak, which has a “burnt” finish. It is exceptionally hard-wearing: any damage can be sanded out and then re-oiled, which is rather important on a dog-friendly boat!”
The magazine goes on to say that the oak flooring, which runs throughout the boat, is one its most liked features.
