All of our wrought ironware is hand made and finished with beeswax for a luxurious, authentic, look and feel.
Do not confuse these genuinely hand-made items with the painted, machine made steel hinges and latches you can find in the DIY superstores.
Genuine wrought ironware is heavy, solid and long lasting - a quick wipe over with a light oil or wax will prevent surface rust although, those of you with older houses may wish to let some rust evolve to give a really antique look!
