The Age Old Boston Oak Flooring combines the elegance of classic oak with an unique aged character. Constructed to be laid in parquet herringbone style, each solid oak block showcases natural imperfections - enhancing the rustic charm and uniqueness of the flooring. The worn edges further contribute to this aged look, providing a subtle yet striking visual appeal.
Age Old Boston Oak Flooring is available in two sizes: 70mm x 280mm and 90mm x 600mm. The blocks are 21mm thick solid European oak. These blocks are also compatible with underfloor heating, making them an ideal choice for contemporary homes or buildings.

Purchasing oak flooring online can be difficult. With so many different suppliers on the market and so many different types of oak flooring available it can be difficult to know exactly what oak flooring to choose. No matter how many images you see online, nothing quite beats being able to see the boards in person. This is why our showroom is so popular - you can see, touch and walk on each and every grade of timber. For those who live further afield this however is not always an option. This is why many online retailers choose to offer samples, with many broadcasting there “free samples”. This allows you to see the grade in your own home to help influence your decision right? Sadly not. These so called “free samples” are often small minuscule offcuts which cannot possibly give a true representation of the quality or the grading of the board. To make things extra tricky, one side of our room had a plastered wall which would eventually have skirting running along it. When we deliver oak flooring, we like to use our own transport whenever possible. This way we get to see our customers in person and discuss their project further. Recently, Adrian set off to deliver some solid oak flooring to a customer. He arrived on site to find a lovely, traditional home in the countryside. On arrival, he was greeted by the husband and wife owners, who were eager to see their new oak flooring. Whilst chatting away, the customers began to explain how the new flooring was to replace an existing oak floor they had purchased only a few years ago. “What?!?” Adrian exclaimed. “An oak floor should last a lifetime, why are you replacing so soon?”.
