The Soudal Soudafoam Gap Filler is a one-component, self-expanding, ready to use PU-foam. The filler contains HCFC- and CFC- free propellants which are not harmful for the ozonlayer.
Soudal Soudafoam provides excellent stability (no shrinkage or post-expansion) with a high filling capacity and high acoustic and thermal insulation properties. The foam ensures very good bonding on most construction materials.
Applications include; the filling of cavities, the sealing of openings in roof constructions, improving thermal isolation in cooling systems, all foam applications in static and not static joints and more.
Application
Shake the aerosol can for at least 20 seconds.
Ensure that the surface is free from grease and dust and moisten the surface with a water sprayer prior to application.
Holes and cavities should be filled by 50% as the foam will expand.
Shake the can regularly during application.
For layered application, repeat moistening after each layer.
Fresh foam can be removed using the Soudal Gun and Foam Cleaner. Cured foam can be removed with the Soudal PU-Remover.
