Coffee and Oak Flooring Combined

13th Jan 2015 @ 18:04

In a recent blog post, we took a look inside the January 2015 issue of the Self Build & Design Magazine. The main feature of the magazine was a barn conversion by Hedi and Paul Brailsford, which featured oak flooring from ourselves. Some of our flooring can also now be seen in the latest issue of the Premier Hospitality magazine.

In this issue, our oak flooring is apart of an article focusing on the Harris & Hoole coffee shops. With all of these stores, they have been specifically designed around their chosen buildings original features. For example, in the Twickenham shop, the site used to be a greengrocer and so therefore features a number of great original features such as the quirky tiled walls.

That originality has led many of the stores to using traditional solid oak flooring. In particular our barn grade solid oak flooring has been used. This grade is by far our most rustic grade of oak flooring, offering maximum character. These solid oak boards contain a high number of knots, burrs, colour streaks, shakes, cracks and some holes.

If you would like to read more on the Harris & Hoole shops, take a look at the latest issue of the Premier Hospitality magazine.
