The Hakwood Pre-Finished Collections

As you may already be aware, further to our unfinished solid and engineered oak flooring, we also have a huge range of the Hakwood pre-finished engineered oak boards available. Made from the finest European Oak, and engineered to perfection, these boards really are something to behold. But with so many styles available how can you choose the right board for you?
Effectively all of the Hakwood boards come as apart of a collection. The boards in each collection are similar in their production but each with their own individual style. Currently at Peak Oak we have three different pre-finished collections available (with more to be added soon), which are as follows; the Old World collection, Sierra collection and the Era collection.
For the Old World collection, all of the boards are based on the look and feel of antique structural beams. The surface of these boards have been manually crafted to create an authentic, uneven effect. As the name suggests, these boards give an old world feel to your property and are full of character. Currently there are 9 individual boards available in this collection, which can be seen below.
The Sierra Collection is made up of European engineered oak flooring, with a completely distinct look. All of the boards in this collection draw inspiration from the linear sawmill marks left on wood planking, which has resulted in the creation of a sawn surface texture. The technique which they use to create these boards produces a non-repetitive pattern and a completely unique floor. Depending on the colour which is chosen, the planks may be smoked, oiled or stained. With a unique and robust character, the Sierra Collection boards have beautiful textural and visual depth.
Our final collection we currently have available is the Era collection. These boards are all made with a classically appealing aged and distressed surface combined with natural oil finishes in various traditional colours. These oak boards have a very natural and nostalgic feel to them. The Era collection have all been aged, smoked, fumed and oiled to create a completely unique board.
