Oak Flooring In The Modern Home

7th Jul 2010 @ 09:46

Following on from yesterday's post, this chic modern apartment in Tallinn, Estonia was created by Romanian designers, Ezzo (via Freshome).

It's another great example of just how well oak flooring can be incorporated into a modern design scheme.

In this case, the mellow neutrality of the oak serves as a perfect base for striking, angular furniture and clean white walls.

A look like this doesn't have to cost a fortune and in fact, this apartment was furnished using sale items - once you've got the oak floor sorted out, you can chop and change the furnishings as the fancy takes you!
