As one of our most unique flooring grades, the Manor House Brown Oak Flooring can look great as a part of just about any renovation project, adding some real intriguing character.
The Brown Oak arises when a naturally occurring fungus living within the oak tree, causes discolouration of the timber. Once the oak has been milled, the resulting oak floorboards have deeply coloured areas of grain which produces a truly striking flooring.
Supplied unfinished, the brown oak can look great when finished with the Blanchon Wood Floor Oil Environment, which will keep the natural look of the oak flooring whilst protecting the surface of the boards.
The Manor House Brown Oak has a similar amount of knots and shakes as our character grade solid oak flooring. A side by side colour comparison of standard oak and brown oak can be seen in the image above.
