Grand Designs Live 2011: Birmingham

Here is just a reminder that today (Friday 7th October) is the first day of Grand Designs Live 2011 in Birmingham. This show runs across the weekend from the 7th to the 9th October. As the UK’s number one, award-winning home show this really is an event that cannot be missed. Grand Designs Live is perfect for anyone who has a interest in interiors, build, kitchens, bathrooms, gardens, shopping, food, sustainability and technology.

Grand Designs Live Debate

At the show there are a number of different attractions to keep you entertained for hours. The Grand Theatre part of the show will be your chance to listen first hand to Kevin McCloud, George Clarke, Oliver Heath, Alison Cork and a number of Grand Designers from the last few series of Grand Designs. Here they will be talking on how to deal with the challenges that projects can bring. This is a great chance to see debates on housing, sustainability and innovations whilst also getting some great tips and advice for yourself. The Live Kitchen Experience offers visitors the chance to watch some of the biggest names from the culinary world in action. The second part of the kitchen experience gives visitors the chance to interact and experience some of the Miele appliances. The Ask An Expert section is designed to provide you all the answers to your queries as well as giving you advice on how to move forward with your project. As well as all these attractions, there are also over 500 exhibitors on show from right across the country. One of the exhibitors on show is us at Peak Oak who will be located on stand K43 right across the weekend. On our stand we will be able to show you a range of the products we have on offer as well as being able to provide you with all the help and advice you could possibly need.

Grand Designs LIve 2011 Birmingham

The venue for the show is at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham with the show itself running from 10am - 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am - 5pm for Sunday. In advance tickets cost £14 for adults with on the door tickets being sold at £18. Children under 16 can enter the show for free.
