The "creme de la creme" of solid oak flooring, quarter-sawn boards display beautiful figuring and a super tight grain.
Quarter sawn oak flooring has virtually no knotting and is sawn from only a small part of a complete tree, making it rarer and therefore much more costly to produce.
There are very few suppliers of true quarter sawn oak flooring in the UK.
Beware, some suppliers advertise laminates and engineered flooring purporting to be quarter sawn - this flooring is imitation and not the real thing.

Quarter-sawn timber is a precious commodity and as such we do not send out samples - you are more than welcome to visit the farm and see a display board.
