More and more of you are looking to lay solid oak flooring onto concrete floors but don't have the headroom to use battens to fix the oak boards - this leaves gluing as the only option.
The choice of glue for use under oak boards is wide however, for us, there is only one adhesive we recommend - Proflex MS Polymer.
This is a one component system that's solvent and water free and most importantly, permanently elastic.
You can use Proflex MS on porous and non-porous surfaces such as sand cement, concrete, anhydrite, wood and chipboard.
Being water and solvent free, there is very limited risk of wood deformation - a definite plus when it comes to beautiful oak flooring.

Oak Flooring Alert!!!
We're getting a lot of customers coming to us having sourced their "solid oak floor" from other suppliers, disappointed that the floor they've bought is just not up to scratch in terms of quality or looks.
Beware... There is a lot of Chinese sourced oak flooring in the UK at the moment and it's being flogged off cheaply by many of the online and bargain warehouse suppliers.
If the flooring you're offered comes in lengths of 1.8 metres or less and in narrow widths, be aware that this is probably Chinese sourced oak.
We supply solid oak flooring in lengths up to 3 metres and all of our oak is European sourced.
