As you're probably aware, we stock a very wide range of products here at Peak Oak, from small tins of wax, through wrought ironware to solid oak flooring and huge green oak beams.
This means we have to use a range of different couriers to transport our items.
How your goods are transported depends on what type of item is being despatched, and where it is being delivered to.
We will always give you a call prior to the delivery to ensure that you are present to receive the order. If you have not received a call, please call us as we may have had difficulty getting in touch with you.
For local deliveries, we will usually use our own vehicles, however we do use our vehicles for long distance items as well. These deliveries are done by ourselves direct to your door, at a time to suit you.
For our national haulages we use our local Toll Prima depot which is a part of the Fortec Distribution Network.
These deliveries are often done using large vehicles. If you require a small vehicle delivery, due to access difficulties please let us know prior to delivery.
We recommend that you have some help at hand for the unloading of the lorry.
For our international deliveries we have a range of options to ensure you get the best quote.
With these services deliveries can take longer, so its good to order well in advance.
For smaller items, such as our hard wax oils, we use the Fed Ex UK service. These are delivered direct to your destination, with tracking available along the way. These items will also require a signature.
With the constantly fluctuating price of fuel and hence delivery costs, it's nigh on impossible to show delivery costs on this website - you really do need to call us to find out how much your products will cost to get to you.
What we can say is that you will never be charged more than we are charged for delivery. You get delivery at cost price.
